General terms and conditions of sale

1. In General

These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all purchases of products made on the Dr. Schatzmann™ website: www.dr-schatzmann.ch. The general terms and conditions of sale form an integral part of any contract concluded between Dr. Schatzmann™ and its customers.

Online product offers and prices are only valid as long as they are visible on the site and within the limits of available stocks. Drawings or images appearing on the site are for illustrative purposes only and do not form part of the contractual conditions.

The information and explanations appearing on the website are given for information purposes only and do not constitute contractual documents.

Dr. Schatzmann™ accepts no liability for any errors or omissions in the information or explanations provided.


2. Prices

The prices indicated on the site are in Swiss francs only. Unless otherwise indicated, they include VAT. They do not include shipping costs, which will be invoiced separately (see shipping conditions below).

All orders are payable exclusively in Swiss francs.

Dr. Schatzmann™ reserves the right to change its prices at any time. The prices invoiced to the customer for the products delivered are those in force on the date of the order and which appear on the order confirmation.

In addition, promotional discounts offered as part of specific commercial actions cannot be combined with other discounts. These special promotional discounts are calculated directly online and deducted from the amount of the order.


3. Order

The order is deemed final as soon as the customer validates the transaction on the site.

The customer declares that he/she has read and accepted these general terms and conditions of sale before placing his/her order. Validation of the order, therefore, implies acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale.

To place an order, the customer must be over 18 years of age and capable of discernment. The customer must ensure that all information provided is accurate.

Dr. Schatzmann™ reserves the right to refuse any order from a customer.


4. Payment

The price invoiced is the price indicated on the order confirmation that is sent to the customer.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered by the Dr. Schatzmann™ shop, namely:

1. Credit cards.
2. Bank transfer. Goods will be dispatched once the amount due has been credited to Dr. Schatzmann™ bank account.


5. Returns and complaints

It is the responsibility of the customer to check the goods immediately upon delivery and to make any reservations and complaints regarding possible defects or non-conformities.

Such reservations and complaints must be addressed to Dr. Schatzmann™ by e-mail to (info@dr-schatzmann.ch) as soon as possible but no later than 3 days after delivery.

The shipping costs in the case of a return of goods shall be borne by the customer.


6. Warranty

The warranty is limited to the replacement of products recognised as defective. Cash refunds are excluded.


7. Data protection

Any personal data provided will only be used to process and fulfil orders and to organise any promotions.

The personal data of purchasers will only be used within the framework defined by federal data protection laws and our data protection policy (see data protection).


8. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

These general terms and conditions of sale are subject to Swiss law.

The place of jurisdiction is Dr. Schatzmann™’s registered office in Cossonay.

9. Modifications and additions

Dr. Schatzmann™ reserves the right to adapt these General Terms and Conditions of Sale to circumstances at any time and to apply them immediately.

General terms and conditions of delivery

1. In General

Products are sent to the delivery address indicated by the customer when ordering. The latter is responsible for providing Dr Schatzmann™ with a complete and accurate shipping address.

In the event that the shipment cannot be made as agreed due to the customer’s fault, the costs of the return shipment and the second shipment will be invoiced to the customer at cost.

The costs and risks inherent in the return of an unclaimed parcel and/or a possible reshipment are borne exclusively by the customer, as are the risks inherent in the storage of the returned goods.

The product is dispatched as soon as it has been made available to the customer by the post office, by the carrier or at the location agreed with the customer.


2. Delivery times

As a rule, our items are in stock and are dispatched (delivered) within Switzerland between 2-5 working days.

In the event of unusual shipping delays, Dr Schatzmann™ will inform the customer by e-mail.

The dispatch times indicated by Dr Schatzmann™ are indicative. Exceeding the shipment deadlines may not result in the cancellation of the order by the customer, nor in compensation or late payment penalties.


3. Shipping costs

We ship throughout Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
Shipping costs are as follows:

– Up to 250g: CHF 3.50.- by swiss mail type A

For example, 1 to 2 toothpaste(s) or toothbrush(es).

– More than 250 gr and up to 2 kg: CHF 8.- by swiss mail type B or CHF 10.- by swiss mail type A

For example, 1 or more dental oil(s) or a combination of dental oil(s), toothpaste(s) and toothbrush(es).

There are no delivery charges for orders over CHF 150.-.


4. Other

In the event of temporary unavailability of an item or a pre-order, Dr Schatzmann™ may be required to deliver the same order in several instalments. In this case, Dr Schatzmann™ undertakes to invoice any contribution to delivery costs only once.


5. Delivery abroad

Dr Schatzmann™ products can be shipped to almost all countries of the European Union on request. They will be dispatched within approximately 15 working days.

Transport costs will be charged to the customer at cost price. The costs of customs clearance, import taxes and VAT in the country of destination are borne by the customer. It is the customer’s responsibility to find out the exact nature of these costs.


6. Liability

Dr Schatzmann™ excludes all liability in the event of loss or damage caused to products during delivery. It cannot be held liable for non-performance of the contract in the event of stock shortage or unavailability of the product and in the event of force majeure. Non-compliance with the 30-day delivery period may under no circumstances give rise to damages, withholding or cancellation of the order.

Dr. Schatzmann™ cannot be held responsible for malfunctions occurring on the Internet and electronic networks.
