It all began when Sabrina Givel Schatzmann, an independent dentist and graduate of the University of Bern (Switzerland), became interested in the composition of children’s toothpastes following her first pregnancy. After analysing existing toothpastes on the market, she realised that none of the products available met all of her requirements, i.e. a composition of 100% natural origin, organic and vegan, with no added fluoride, no chemical preservatives, no colours and free from other ingredients such as sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS), PEG derivatives, parabens, formaldehyde, microplastics (silica) or synthetic additives (flavourings, fragrances and preservatives).

She decided, therefore, to create her own natural toothpaste, with the same consistency as traditional toothpastes (thick and foamy). In collaboration with a Swiss laboratory, she developed a toothpaste, then a dental oil, made from 100% natural origin ingredients with antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties.

These Swiss products, developed by a health professional and made from scrupulously selected, high-quality natural ingredients, are the result of years of thought, research and clinical trials to find the best harmony for balanced oral flora and optimal oral hygiene.

The final challenge was to produce the toothpaste in a plant-based PE tube, while guaranteeing ideal preservation of the recipe. Vegetable PE is a polyethylene made from a renewable raw material, sugar cane ethanol. This organic packaging has the same protective and conservation properties as traditional PE. It is, therefore, protective, durable and recyclable. In addition, unlike conventional plastic tubes, the production of plant-based PE has a negative carbon footprint, as the sugar cane absorbs CO2 through photosynthesis during its growth phase.
